Turkey eSIM 10 GB: holiday planning and hotspot checks
10 GB provides a larger travel-data budget, not unlimited internet. Estimate your holiday use and check tethering support before relying on a hotspot.
Choose your Turkey data package
Your trip, your data, your budget. Choose a package below and buy at a clear final EUR price, with two-network access on selected plans. All packages are data-only, without a Turkish phone number.
Validity starts on first connection to a supported network in Turkey. Check compatibility and carrier unlock before paying. Review the amount and terms at checkout. Already paid but not connected? Use the troubleshooting steps below before buying again.

One eSIM. Two network options for your Turkey trip.
Explore Turkey with access to Vodafone and Türk Telekom on our 1, 3, 10 and 20 GB plans. Unlike a single-network package, you have another supported network to select where available if reception on one is poor. Choose the flexibility of two networks for your journey, or our 5 GB Vodafone-only option.
Enjoy 5G where available on a compatible phone, with 4G and 3G connectivity according to local coverage. Pick your GB, see your final EUR price and install before you fly. Network choice gives you flexibility; actual speeds depend on your location, device and network conditions.
Is 10 GB enough for a Turkey holiday?
It depends on how you use your phone. Maps, bookings and messages are different from streaming films, backing up a camera roll or joining long video meetings. The Volt Mobile 10 GB Turkey plan is valid for 30 days, but that does not mean every traveller can use it for a month without reaching the data limit.
For a seven-day holiday, 10,000 MB works out to about 1,429 MB per day. For fourteen days it is about 714 MB per day; over thirty days it is about 333 MB per day. These are planning divisions of the allowance, not measurements of app consumption or promises that data will last.
Share your 10 GB with a laptop or travel companion
Hotspot sharing is supported. Enable Personal Hotspot or Wi-Fi hotspot on your compatible phone, set a password and connect your laptop or another device. The connected devices draw from the same 10 GB allowance, so you can share the connection without buying a separate package for each device.
Pause laptop system updates, cloud backups and automatic downloads before connecting. Set the laptop connection to metered where available and disconnect devices when finished. If the hotspot option is missing, check your device’s hotspot settings and the eSIM installation instructions, or contact support with your phone model.
A practical data plan for the trip
Before leaving, look at your phone’s recent daily usage, then allow for activities you will add on holiday. Download offline maps and transport documents over Wi-Fi. Check consumption after the first travel day and adjust streaming and uploads while you still have a useful reserve.
Use Vodafone and Türk Telekom with one data-only eSIM, including 5G where available on a compatible phone. Keep your existing number for messaging apps; the package supplies mobile data rather than a new Turkish number. Reception and speed depend on your location, device and local network.
Install without risking the home SIM
Confirm eSIM compatibility and carrier unlock. Your QR appears in your account after payment is confirmed and the eSIM is ready. Install over Wi-Fi and follow the supplied activation instructions. Select the Turkey line for mobile data and keep home-SIM data roaming off.
Check current prices and validity in the Turkey catalog. If the QR is missing or the line will not connect, contact support with your order reference before purchasing again. Do not publish the QR or remove an installed profile while support is investigating.
Keep control of the data line
On iPhone, open Settings → Cellular (or Mobile Data), select the Turkey line and check that it is on. Select that line under Cellular Data and turn off Allow Cellular Data Switching if you do not want fallback to your home line. On Pixel, open Settings → Network & internet → SIMs and choose the Turkey SIM for mobile data. On Samsung Galaxy, look under Settings → Connections → SIM manager. Menu labels vary by model and software. Enable roaming only as instructed for the travel line; leave home-SIM data roaming off.
Make a data budget you can actually check
Before departure, record the phone’s mobile-data counter and check which billing period it covers. On iPhone the current period may need resetting manually; on Android the displayed cycle may not match your trip. Use the account’s remaining package allowance for the package balance, and the phone counter to identify which apps consume data.
Download your area’s map over Wi-Fi and check that it opens offline before leaving. Use mobile data for live traffic, fresh transit departures and online searches. Save tickets, addresses and the hotel’s contact details separately. Disable mobile-data photo backups and automatic app updates to preserve your allowance.
Subtract data you have already used, then divide the remaining allowance by the days left. Compare that daily budget with yesterday’s actual use. If you are running ahead of budget, pause background downloads and save large uploads for Wi-Fi rather than waiting until the allowance runs out.
Share your connection without surprise downloads
Turkey plans support hotspot sharing on compatible devices. Your phone and connected devices share the package allowance. Before connecting a laptop, pause system updates and cloud synchronisation and set the connection to metered where available. Check your usage after the first session to budget for the rest of the trip.
Give the hotspot a private password and disconnect devices after use. A laptop can consume data even when you are not browsing: check its background downloads before sharing the connection. For regular laptop work, compare the larger allowances before departure rather than choosing solely by the lowest starting price.
