Before you board
Check that the phone supports eSIM and is not carrier-locked, buy the plan on shore Wi-Fi and install the QR code before boarding. The QR code and activation details appear in your Volt Mobile account after verified payment and fulfillment.
Keep the Turkey line switched off until you are in Turkish waters or on land, and turn off data roaming on your home SIM.
Check the network after docking
Near the Greek islands, check that your phone uses an eligible Turkish network. Switch off automatic network selection if necessary and choose Vodafone TR, or Türk Telekom on plans that include it. A Turkey-only plan does not include Greek or maritime networks.
The 5 GB plan lists Vodafone 5G only, so choose Vodafone manually on that plan.
Terminals, shuttles and onward travel
Check your port in the guide below and confirm the terminal, pickup point and onward connection with your cruise line, ferry operator or accommodation. Follow the port's current passenger instructions on arrival.
Which plan to pick
The 1 GB plan lasts 7 days and suits a short stay with maps and messages. The 3 GB plan lasts 15 days. The 5 GB, 10 GB and 20 GB plans last 30 days. Turkey plans are data only: no Turkish phone number or calling allowance is included, and the free trial is available for Albania only.
