Before you fly: install your eSIM

Install your Turkey eSIM while you still have a reliable internet connection, then keep the eSIM line switched off until you land. Save any setup details you may need so you are ready to connect after arrival.

Turkey is outside the EU/EEA, so travellers should check their own operator’s tariff before using their usual mobile line abroad.

After landing at Antalya Airport (AYT)

Antalya Airport (AYT) has Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. After landing, switch your Volt Mobile eSIM line on and select it for mobile data before leaving the terminal.

This is the approach for getting ride apps and hotel messages working immediately. Vodafone 5G and Türk Telekom 5G are shown in the supplier listing, but network availability is not a coverage guarantee.

For light use, plan around 150 MB a day; regular map, messaging and browsing use can be around 400 MB a day; heavier use can reach 1000 MB a day. Consider where you will spend time, including Kaleiçi, Lara and Konyaaltı.

Estimate your data use for maps, messages and video, then choose your Turkey plan. Actual usage depends on your apps and Wi-Fi availability.

• Light use (150 MB a day, about 0.45 GB in total): 1 GB Turkey, €1.39, 1 GB for 7 days.
• Moderate use (400 MB a day, about 1.2 GB in total): 3 GB Turkey, €3.99, 3 GB for 15 days.
• Heavy use (1000 MB a day, about 3 GB in total): 3 GB Turkey, €3.99, 3 GB for 15 days.
