How to avoid roaming charges in Antalya

Turkey eSIM plans

Set up your phone before you need data

Install and activate your eSIM before leaving Antalya Airport (AYT), whether you arrive at Terminal 1 or Terminal 2. This step means ride apps and hotel messages can work immediately.

In your phone settings, turn off data roaming for your home SIM and select the eSIM as the line used for mobile data. If your device has a setting that automatically switches mobile data between SIMs, review it so your home line does not start using data unexpectedly.

Choose a data plan for your stay

Volt Mobile plans are data-only, with no Turkish phone number and no free trial: 1 GB for 7 days, 3 GB for 15 days, 5 GB for 30 days (Vodafone 5G only), 10 GB for 30 days, or 20 GB for 30 days.

For a simple planning guide, allow around 150 MB a day for light use, 400 MB a day for regular maps, messaging and browsing, or 1000 MB a day for heavier daily use. The supplier listing names Vodafone 5G and Türk Telekom 5G; this is not a coverage guarantee.

Watch network selection near the Aegean coast

On the Aegean coast, check the network your phone has joined. If it tries to connect to a Greek island network, manually select Vodafone TR or Türk Telekom instead, then confirm your eSIM remains the data line.

Kaleiçi, Lara and Konyaaltı are useful reference areas when planning your data needs. coverage varies by place and building.
