Turkey answers: Bodrum
Bodrum eSIM for a 14-Day Trip
For a two-week stay in Bodrum, data allowance matters—but so does the plan’s expiry date. Set up your Volt Mobile eSIM with a plan that can last through your trip, or allow for a second plan.

Arriving in Bodrum: check the network by the coast
You may arrive through Milas-Bodrum (BJV), then use data around the marinas and along the Aegean coast. Turkey is outside the EU/EEA, so check your own operator’s tariff before travelling.
On the coast, a phone can attach to a neighbouring Greek island’s network. Check that it is connected to a Turkish network—Vodafone TR or Türk Telekom—and select it manually in your mobile network settings if needed.
Coverage varies by place and building.
Why validity can mean buying a second plan
A 1 GB plan lasts 7 days, so it cannot cover a full 14-day trip on its own. If you choose it for the first week, you may need a second plan for the remaining days, even if your data use is light.
The 3 GB plan lasts 15 days, which covers the calendar length of a two-week stay. That makes it a simpler fit when 3 GB is enough for your expected usage; if it is not, a larger plan or an additional plan may be more practical.
For longer validity, 5 GB, 10 GB and 20 GB plans each last 30 days. The 5 GB plan is listed on Vodafone 5G only; network listings are supplier information, not a coverage guarantee.
Estimate your Bodrum data before you buy
As a planning guide, light use can be around 150 MB a day, moderate use around 400 MB a day, and heavier use around 1,000 MB a day. Across 14 days, those estimates are about 2.1 GB, 5.6 GB and 14 GB respectively.
At the light estimate, 3 GB can suit the trip and remains valid for all 14 days. At around 400 MB daily, 3 GB may run out despite its 15-day validity, while 5 GB may also be short; a 10 GB plan gives more room for that estimate.
If your use is closer to 1,000 MB a day, 20 GB offers a larger allowance for the two weeks. Check your phone’s data use during the trip, especially after using maps, uploads or video, so you can decide whether a second plan is needed.
Choose data for 14 days
Estimate your data use for maps, messages and video, then choose your Turkey plan. Actual usage depends on your apps and Wi-Fi availability.
- Light use (150 MB a day, about 2.1 GB in total): 3 GB Turkey, €3.99, 3 GB for 15 days.
- Moderate use (400 MB a day, about 5.6 GB in total): 10 GB Turkey, €9.99, 10 GB for 30 days.
- Heavy use (1000 MB a day, about 14 GB in total): 20 GB Turkey, €22.99, 20 GB for 30 days.
Networks and device compatibility
Plan details updated 2026-10-17. Vodafone 5G and Türk Telekom 5G are listed for Turkey plans; 5 GB supports Vodafone 5G only. Reception and speeds vary by location and device. All plans are data only, with no Turkish phone number. Check compatibility before purchase.
